This policy explains what personal information FinEdge Pristine Sdn. Bhd. ("FinEdge", "we", "us") collects from visitors to finedge.pro and customers of our cleaning services, why we collect it, how long we hold it, and the rights you have to ask us to change or delete it.
1. Who we are
FinEdge Pristine Sdn. Bhd. is a private limited company incorporated in Malaysia, business registration number 202401045673 (1567892-P), with its principal place of business at Level 18, Menara Sentral, Jalan Tun Sambanthan, 50470 Kuala Lumpur. We act as the data controller for the personal information we collect through this website and through the booking of cleaning services.
2. The information we collect
We collect different categories of information depending on how you interact with us:
- Enquiry information: full name, email, phone number, service preference, postcode or area, and any free-text description you choose to share through our quote form.
- Service information: property details, scheduled visit times, access instructions, special requirements, and any photos you send us by email or messaging.
- Billing information: name, address, and Malaysian SST or tax identifiers if you require a corporate invoice.
- Technical information: non-identifying details such as your IP address, browser type, and visit timestamps captured by the web server for security purposes.
3. Why we collect it
We process personal information for purposes that are specific, limited, and necessary to operate our cleaning service:
- To prepare a written proposal in response to your enquiry.
- To schedule, deliver, and follow up on cleaning visits.
- To raise invoices, comply with Malaysian tax law, and retain accounting records for the period required by statute.
- To improve our service quality through internal reviews and post-visit audits.
- To send service-related communications such as appointment reminders.
4. Lawful basis
We rely on your explicit consent (granted when you submit the quote form), the necessity of processing for the performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running a cleaning business responsibly. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time by emailing [email protected].
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with:
- The specific crew lead and team coordinator assigned to your visit, under signed confidentiality terms.
- Our Malaysian-licensed insurance provider, in the event of a claim or incident report.
- Government authorities and tax bodies where compelled to do so by law.
- Our managed-hosting provider in Malaysia, which stores our website and email infrastructure under a written data-processing agreement.
6. How long we hold it
Enquiry information is retained for 24 months from the last contact. Customer service records are held for the duration of the engagement plus seven years to comply with Malaysian accounting requirements. Closed-circuit television and security access logs at our office are retained for 30 days unless an incident is under review.
7. Your rights under the PDPA
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Withdraw your consent for processing, where consent is the basis.
- Object to direct marketing communications.
- Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Department of Malaysia.

8. Security measures
FinEdge applies access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), role-based permissions on customer records, and quarterly security reviews. Crew members access only the information necessary to deliver their assigned visits. Physical records are stored at our KL Sentral office in a controlled-access area.
